Information Regarding School Admission

 

Due to the fact that we received an extremely large number of applications for the school year 2012-2013, we will stop accepting any application after 15/11/2011. We will resume accepting applications in the future and parents will be informed about the schedule of application process on our school website. 2011 - 2012 Academic Year
Children born before 31 December 2009 may apply for admission to the following classes: Pre-Nursery (PN), Nursery (K1), Lower Kindergarten (K2), Upper Kindergarten (K3). Please refer to the admission criteria listed below.

 

2012 - 2013 Academic Year
Children born before 31 December 2010, may apply for admission to the following classes: Pre-Nursery (PN), Nursery (K1), Lower Kindergarten (K2), Upper Kindergarten (K3). Please refer to the admission criteria listed below.

 

Admission Criteria:

1. Application forms may be downloaded or are available directly from our kindergarten.

 

2. Upon presenting your completed application form to school, an application fee of $30.00 will be applicable.

3. Completed application forms should be submitted with the following documents:

• A copy of the child's birth certificate
• A copy of vaccination papers 
• Three, stamped self addressed envelopes with your child's name written on them 
• Two photograhs attached to application

 

4. Application Date:

• Applications should be lodged from 1 September 2011 onwards. 
• As there are limited places for the morning session, parents are requested to lodge the application as early as possible as a first come first serve policy will be applied.

 

5. Methods for Lodging Applications:

• Applications may be lodged personally during office hours.
• Posted applications should include copies of the relevant documents listed above together

 

with the application fee of $30.00, payable by cheque. The cheque should be made payable to: Greenfield English Kindergarten (Ma On Shan).
